It’s been nearly a decade since we decided to embark on this wild ride… and through blood, sweat, a couple of beers and the help of a bunch of legendary mates, we’ve gone from brewing in the backyard to Qld’s most popular independent brewery.*
We’re so stoked that QLD has got behind us on our mateship journey, and we never dreamed that we’d be where we are right now all those years ago. Sh*t, if you’d told us we’d be voted Australia’s No.1 Pale Ale after trying some of McGarry’s early batches, we would’ve laughed ya out of the room.
We’re Going Big
But Larry's popularity continues to bring us one one big problem, we just can’t brew enough of the tasty bloke for our thirsty mates in QLD, let alone the rest of Aus, who are crying out for a taste of Your Mates.
In the last 4 years, we’ve gone from brewing 50,000 litres a year, to now more than a massive 750,000 litres. But it’s still not enough. The beer gods have blessed us and we’ve been gifted an amazing site next door! We’re currently expanding our production facility to allow us to brew more than 10 times our previous capacity, as well as expanding our current Brewpub footprint.
We’ve also got some exciting plans in place to open up some new brewpub locations, so more Queenslanders can get a taste of the Your Mates experience…and the best bit is, you can be a part of it.
