Terms & Conditions – Your Mates x Punsand Bay Camping Giveaway

The promoter is Your Mates Brewing Co. (ABN 36 602 634 257) in partnership with Punsand Bay Camping.

Eligibility

Open to residents of Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Tasmania only.
Entrants must be aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the promoter, prize supplier, or agencies directly associated with this promotion are not eligible.


Entry Requirements

To enter, participants must during the competition period:
1. Tag two (2) mates in the official giveaway post on Instagram.
2. Ensure they are following @‌yourmatesbrewing and @‌punsandbaycamping.
3. Share the giveaway post to their Instagram story for one (1) bonus entry.
4. Entrants may also be required to follow @‌jtjandmac on YouTube as part of bonus entry conditions.
5. Entrants must hold a valid, public Instagram account at the time of the draw to enable verification.


Campaign Period

Opens: 7 September 2025 (AEST)
Closes: 13 October 2025 at 5:00pm AEST
Winner drawn: 13 October 2025 at 5:00pm AEST


Prize

One (1) major prize valued at AUD $15,000, including:
- 4 nights in a two-bedroom air-conditioned cabin at Punsand Bay.
- Flights Bamaga to Cairns (10 weeks’ min. booking notice).
- Return airport bus transfers Bamaga ↔ Punsand Bay.
- All meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner).
- 4x4 Trip to the Tip of Australia.
- 60-minute helicopter package.
- Exclusive sunset tour.
- Punsand Bay merchandise pack.


Prize Conditions

Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
Winner must confirm booking dates at least 6 months in advance of intended travel. Availability is limited and subject to confirmation at time of booking.
Offer valid for 2 years from the draw date, expiring 13 October 2027. 
Punsand Bay is closed from November to May each year; prize travel must be taken outside of these months.
Travel during peak/holiday periods (e.g. Christmas, Easter, public holidays) is subject to availability.
Activities such as the helicopter ride, sunset tour, and 4WD trip are weather-dependent and not guaranteed; no compensation will be provided if these are cancelled or modified due to conditions.
If any listed activity becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the promoter’s control, the promoter reserves the right to substitute with an activity of equal or greater value. 
Winner and guests are responsible for their own travel insurance, valid identification, and any additional expenses not outlined in the prize.
Any tax liability arising from accepting the prize is the responsibility of the winner.

Winner Selection & Notification

Random draw from all eligible entries at 5:00pm AEST, 13 October 2025.
Winner will be contacted via Instagram DM within 48 hours and announced on @‌yourmatesbrewing.
Winner must respond to prize notification within 7 days. If no response is received, the promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.
The winner may nominate two (2) guests to accompany them; however, the prize itself cannot be sold, transferred, or gifted in full.


Verification

The promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility, identity, and entry validity.
Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

Liability

The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries.
The promoter and prize supplier are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or claim (including direct or consequential loss) arising from or in connection with participation or prize acceptance.

Publicity

By entering, the winner and their guests consent to participating in reasonable promotional activities (photo/video) arranged by the promoter, and consent to the use of their name, image, and entry in any media without further compensation.
